Local Series Questions
I’ve read the stickies and scca web site for info on club racing but I am still a little confused. I like auto x, but it is slow to me and I would rather do track events. I live in s.w Missouri and I am near Hallet MP and Topeka MP.
What kind of organization can I get in to run competitive events along with track days at different tracks in my area. Seems everything is scattered across the net and it confuses a noob like me to try to pick up on series that I can get into.
I have an 02 Zo6 w/a S/C on it that I love so I do not want to take the s/c off. The car is not my daily driver, but I don’t want it as an all out race car but mid-point between the two. Can some one help me out here on organizations and series that cater to people like me. I saw grass roots racing on the site but know very little about them and don’t know what exactly they do

Here are NASA Midwest http://www.nasamidwest.com/
and NASA Texas http://www.nasatx.com/main.asp
and SCCA MidWest http://www.scca.com/Inside/index.asp?reference=436795
Your major competitive routes
Next would be to go to the specific tracks you would like to run on, look at their schedules, find clubs that host events, and contact them about their events.
