Default Flushing OEM Brake Fluid (C6)

Is it really necessary to have a dealer flush the OEM brake fluid out of the ABS system? This issue has been raised on these forums without being resolved. The concern is about not being able to really flush the system without having a Tech II to "exercise" the ABS circuits.

No. The only time you need to flush it is when you get air into the system. Most of the time the dealer tech won't flush with the Tech 2 unless there has been a request to do it, air has gotten in the system or they have been working on that part of the system.

When I use my Motive tank to go from ATE Blue to ATE 200 and back to Blue every track day, am I missing/bypassing the ABS system?

Motive power bleeder with 12-15 psi will open the ABS units in the calipers.
