Gene will likely ask for your VIN. It's their way of making sure you actually get the right part. They even wanted the VIN when I called to order some interior pieces...

Just out of curiosity, what went bad?

All the springs I have are just sheet metal plates bonded to the top and bottom surfaces of the spring. They had 1" square rubber pads bonded to the bottom side that ran on the A-arm.

If the spring is bad and you are'nt looking to upgrade to a performance spring (VBP,etc) then just call a corvette salvage shop (left side of screen) and buy a used spring. The pads are bonded to the springs so it should come with the new/used one.

Steve, Another option is to just buy a thin piece of "generic" rubber. Cut it to fit and epoxy it to the lower control arm. A lot of guys cut the pad that you are looking for off or shave it a little to lower the front ride height. Just an thought.

Thanks Guys, sometimes I guess we feel it is a "uber" unobtanium part since the General makes it.
