OK, here is Saturday's Qualifying race.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zldf_UZsAGA

I'm still pissed about the fact that my shifter *** came out in my hand on the last straight of the last lap giving Dave the win, I still think he was setting me up because I just didn't have the torque to get out of the corners like he did.

Really the only good parts of this video are the start and the last lap, I cut out most of the boring stuff as I do with most of my race videos.

I'll get the Championship race up soon, I'm just trying to get over my bitterness.

I ran **** *** Toyo RA1s from 2003 they were still glazed over (never run) and hard as a rock. One of my fronts was also mounted backwards so it was drawing water in instead of pushing it out. I think I was the only front runner not on Hoosier wets I was able to scrub them in a bit and get my front remounted and I qualified in the rain for the 2nd Qualifing race in 3rd so it helped.

At the time of the 2nd race I think I had more seat time in that car in the wet then dry, I was almost hoping for a Wet finals. Wet or dry I think I would have finished about were I did 3rd DQed to 4th of 17.

Ken,

Neat videos. I am still kicking myself for not turning the video on for Friday's rain race; it was my best performance of the weekend.

On Saturday's race I am not too proud of my entry into Turn Nine...I kinda cut you off. Sorry.

Also, on Lap One going thru Thunder Valley did I hear you say to someone on the radio "Tell me what Dave is doing?"

Get over the bitterness, in the long run it will be a positive ( aside from financial impacts ). It was for me, and my incident was not even close to a racing incident. Be glad yours was!

I learned people sure race differently in a "regional race" vs a championship race. There were a few spots I was like WTF, but I'll know for next time.

Yeah, you did hear that, I knew that you were going to be the one chasing me down and I wanted to know where you were. What killed me is the fact I have so little seat time in that car I couldn't get the feel in the dry and was running 1:37s the first few laps just letting you close in. I should have been able to just check out but that's racing, it was my race to lose and I did.

I'm bitter about NASA reaction, I'm bitter about that being raced out of class, the actual racing was all one big learning experience and I'm quite happy that I was even in the hunt with a car I had very little time in and it wasn't even sorted out, hell I made a big sway bar adjustment right before the race and I've never did an adjustment on a sway bar before and had know idea how it would affect the car, just went off some advice and said let's give it a shot, not only that but never ran new tires on the car before the final race. I had no business running up front, I really hope I get this car figured this year.

BTW don't ask me what brake pads are on the car, I still don't know
