Default CCW C140 wheel and BBKs.

Will or what big brake kits will fit behind a CCW C140 wheel in stock C6 sizes? Thanks

Call John at CCW (number on the website) and he can answer all of your questions directly. For most wheels CCW makes a big brake option although I don't know about the C140 specifically.

I don't believe John makes his 1-piece wheels (C,T, and SP-series) in 17"... so you're looking at 18" all around... in which case you should be good with most all the BBK's out there.

But John will know for sure

(corrected to C6, every time I type 2005 C I always type 5 instead of 6)
That's good because the 2005-09 base wheel sizes are 18 x 8.5 f and 19 x 10 r.
Calling for me is difficult as I am located in Afghanistan. but I guess I can email him, it's just that his web site is very slow over here.

I have 18x11 C140 front wheels and Wilwood SL6R calipers with LGM brackets. They fit with LOTS of room. I would recommend 18x10 fronts for the street, they'll fit better under the fenders. If you go with LGM's Wilwood SL6 calipers (slightly narrower) and brackets I bet you can fit just fine. Note those brackets are actually used with the cheap C5 rotors for NAPA but you should be able to space the caliper out to run a larger rotor.

I can measure up rotor face to wheel spoke clearance for the 18x11s later if that's helpful. I don't think there's a wheel out there that'll provide more clearance than the CCW C14/C140/C10...

With the right offsets everything up to and including 380mm Brembos will fit. John has that info, we figured it out exactly.

I have 18x11 front wheels on my C6 with the 380mm Brembo setup.

I have 18X10 F and 18X11 R C14 race version they clear my 4 piston 14" Brembo's.

I have C140 18X10 F and 19X11 R street version and they clear the Brembos without issue as well.

I think you will be hard pressed to find a brake kit the CCW C14 C140 wont clear.

At minimum go with 10" wide front, it fits absolutely perfectly and their 11" rear fits just perfectly as well.

Are you looking at them for track wheels or street wheels? You need to think about what tires and sizes you want to run.

Thanks for all the info guys. I'd like to run stock wheel sizes so I can have run-flats as these will be my daily wheels on a daily driven car. I'm just thinking about my lessons learned in Germany as I hope to get stationed there again after Afghanistan.

I have runflats on my 18X10F and 19X11 rear C140......
In Z06 sizes, 275/35/18F and 325/30/19 rear. If you are going to spend the money on CCW why not increase your performance by putting more rubber on the road, they fit perfectly and clear the brakes with ease. Here are the street CCW wheels/ C6Z06 tires on mine.

One more question, would DRM brake ducts fit behind 11 inch wheels?

Yes - TPMS sensors fit all CCW Corsair models just like the OEM wheels. No funky mounting needed

The wheels stick out a bit, you have to run at least -2deg camber to clear 295/30r18 tires and the fender. The DRM ducts "fit" but... there's always a but... the wheels will rub on the ducts at lock -- heck, the wheels will rub on lots of stuff at lock :-). Nothing a little duct tape can't fix for the ducts, though. Maybe with some relocating of the ducts you can make it clear.

18X10 front and 19X11 rear is the way to go for street wheels and I use the C6Z06 ducts, they are effective and much lower cost than the DRM ducts, no rubbing on my setup.

With 18x10 f can I run normal camber? Are there any runflats in 10 inch?

Should work easily with less camber. 18x10 is also perfect for a 275/35r18 ... stock C6Z size.

BTW, you can also email the CCW guys and they'll tell you -exactly- what works and doesn't and what each size requires. I really prefer the C14 (C12, C10) look to the C140. The C10 and C12 offer center caps for street use that the C14 doesn't (that I know of). Yes, I have C140s. Live and learn.

Absolutely, it will fit perfectly with alot of camber or none at all, the C6Z06 front 275/35/18 fits perfect as well.
