Default Exhaust System,,,,Which Do You Run?

I currently have Dynatech headers & catless x-pipe run through 02 ZO6 Ti's.....it sounds very quiet compared to others. I'm not looking to wake the dead or anything, just curious if there is a system of choice among the roadrace/hpde group. Please post your setup & opinions (audio/video clips if you have one).

Corsa here, there is truth in their advertising, no drone. It has a more "European" sound, so thats not for everyone, but the flow is great, and the sound is there when you want it, and gone when you don't.

We install a lot of exhaust systems, Borla, LG, Corsa, Magnaflow, GHL, you name it really, I like the Jekyll and Hide of the Corsa the best.

I've lost too much hearing between having straight pipes and concerts... ended up back on stock Ti's on longtubes no cats. 3hp difference is too negligible for me to care about, I liked the feel of low end torque being back though

American racing "race" headers
American racing 3" X-pipe (catless)
American racing Turn downs...

Its wake the dead alright, but the power is insane!!! I'd give them a call and see what they can do, they even have cool mufflers and cats you can put in their systems.

I have Corsa "Pace Cars" on my street driven supercharged coupe & love the sound as well as the build quality....I wish my track car sounded as good.

I've lost some hearing at concerts as well, but never had straight pipes....My Ti's are fine for now, just wish they sounded a little louder

do the Ti bypass mod.

I just did it on my c5z w/kooks 1 3/4 LT's & xpipe. its a touch louder at idle but no drone to speak of on the highway.
the WOT sound is MUCH more throaty now. Sounds like its gargling broken glass on decel too.

I like the bypass mod, finding someone that does a good job of fabbing & welding titanium at a reasonable cost is the trick. How much did it cost you?

What does your headerback exhaust consist of? That was a nice vid you posted BTW...the one with views from your car and another doing a standing start....

Thanx...I heard it loud & clear in your vid,,,,,,seems like more than a few running straight pipes & turndowns.

When headers are involved I typically go with the Ti mufflers but they are the most quiet under full throttle but they don't drone either. Corsa sounds mean but euro-mean not really my cup of beer, but zero drone on the highway. Borla stingers sound great with a good strong american muscle sound, but they will drone on the highway and you will want to kill yourself.
For a dual use car I would just stick with the Ti mufflers, they are light and they flow well enough, the only draw back is that they are quiet, and I have seen 2 mufflers blow out on the side. (one of them melted the bumper cover!)

TPIS LTs, Random Tech High Flow cats & X-pipe then 3" straight pipes.

LOUD in an understatement at full WOT. 100-102 dbs at 50 feet.

I do have spirals to put in the straight pipes, brings it down to 95 dbs or so. slight loss of power

and I have LG Pros sitting in my basement too

Mine sounds the same way with the cut outs open. What the hell is that - the cats?

I've got one of only a handful of the Corsa Ti systems made. I'm still on the fence about installing it. Any offers???

It is used, they don't make them anymore and haven't in a few years, I bought it from another forum member, just haven't installed it yet.

LG Street long tubes, RT hi flow cats, and Ti exhaust. Really happy with the sound, weight, and overall hp/tq gains.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike
