Default 2009 SCCA Runoffs T1 Broadcast Available NOW!

Speedcast broadcast of the race is online now.

http://www.speedcasttv.com/scca/#/races/88

I swear I didn't pay them off to talk about me so much. It was really fun to lead for a while. I slowed becasue the brake pedal hit the floor and I didn't own the car! Pretty smart if you ask me, Road America, not a place to drive in that circumstance.

If they would only reconfigure the track to include 14 Kinks I'd be in business.

Good try for Corvette, John. F430 Ferrari's have no place in the class.

Kind of a strange Runoffs. Interesting interview with Lance.

It sure didn't seem like the epic battles of the last few years.

Just watched the race and yes, one hell of an early jump on the start. I guess the flagman is just a suggestion and not a hard & fast rule.

John, nice run and nice to see you lead. Congrats to Lance for second also.

Steve, nice to meet you over at Phoenix the other week.

Nice to meet you too, Jeff. Thanks for the help with the fuse block and helping me load my Z06 in the trailer.

Awesome... thanks for the vid!

EDIT: I am by no means an expert, not even close, but in the in-car views of the Ferrari it sounded like he was out for a Sunday drive.

Cool race, weird that the two Vipers were hanging so far back on the start.

Nice Job JB

The ferrari is a street race car compared to the corvettes and vipers being street cars in race trim.

The 430 Challenge car looked like it NEVER worked hard and the only bobbles were driver error. It tracked extremely well and stuck well. Knupp and Buttermore cars looked like they were working very hard to keep up.

It was obviously misclassed.

sounded like he was short shifting and getting no where near red line.

You ran a Smart race and did what we all should have done in your shoes, problem is most of us don't have the will power.

Great job and get them next year just stay out of ST2

I would think the real competitor for this car was and is the C6Z06. Let a fully prepped C6Z in the class to go against this car and like to see what would happen. I guess that would make the standard C5/6 obsolete, but it would at least be a fair fight!

Thanks West Coast guys. I'm jealous you get to start your season so early, but it's not like I have a car anyway so . . . . .

Good Luck out there!
