How 'bout a daily blog from the NASA Nat'l's...
Oli, Mike, Geoff, & Joel:
Good luck out there. How about you guys giving us a daily blow by blow account of the racing or other adventures at the end of each day.
We can all vicariously live through y'all.

It is with deepest sympathy we announce the sudden death of a LS7 crate engine. I got word about a hour ago. Brent Crosser Flagstaff, AZ, LS7 powered C4 Corvette lost something in the bottom end and will not be racing the rest of the week. He is already planning for a built engine

We got to Utah Monday afternoon and rented a hoist for a few hours and did the rest of the repairs at Miller. The car is back out, we had to replace the rack, RF fender, engine oil cooler, diff cooler, and put the front end back together piece by piece. A little resin and some fiberglass mat and everything is back where it belongs. Finished up the alignment last night around midnight.
Geff just got his second practice session in and everything seems ok. We have two more runs today then we will be rockin tommorow.
Rory is picking up the track well and we are looking good for TTA tommorow.
Mike (stairman) had a starter issue but found one and everything is back together.
We'll see how the rest of the day goes, I'll post later tonight with any new info.

Bummer. I knew there are some LS motored C4's out there but didn't know any had LS7's. Can't wait to see what is going to go in there. Are you guys going to build it?

That's good there wasn't more damage than that. I came around the turn and saw him backing across the track pretty messed up and thought "Uh OH! Hopefully that doesn't mess up Nats for you guys." Glad it didn't too badly and that your running laps again!
