Default 2008 C6 Power steering Fluid

What is everyone using for Power Steering Fluid in 2008 or better. Thinking of doing Royal Purple or a DexTran VI synthetic.

I changed all my fluids often for the track and with 20K I think it is time to do the power steering before i get some fade..

Props to the vast and unpaid research crew.

We offer AMSOIL power steering fluid now. We had good experience with RED LINE as well. They both work well and the AMSOIL fluids are easier to get.

If you are experiencing power assist fade, I'd suggest checking PS cooler for obstruction and look to see if you are running over 8.5 degrees of caster. On the C5s, running more than 8 degrees caster without running a larger cooler will overheat the PS fluid, burn up the pump and the rack. We found this out the expensive way.

If the AMSOIL isn't on our web site yet, just give me a call at the store. Our shopping cart server "Burned up" and Terry and Ron are frantically trying to build a new web sight.

The good news to come from this is that our old website had about 400 items and the new one is already over 1000.

Thanks for the feedback... I have a C6 w/ 7.9 caster and 1.9 camber. No Fade at all, just want to be proactive and change the fluid before i have the experience..
