Default When things get slow at....

The Big Pine Key Moible Home and Adult Theme Park we always have activities to exercise the mind and spirit.

Like Disney World, in an effort to keep our multi cultured guests happy, we have sections of the park with different themes, kind of like Jungle World, Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, etc.

Many of y'all might remember the Jello Slide we have. That's always been a big hit.

The Frolic In The Hot Tub is always a smash with the more take-no-prisoners, what-happens-here-stays-here, risque crowd.

But our most recent installation at BPKMHATP, which we are sure will be a hit with those who have little money for actual racing, we're proud to introduce the "Bulldozer 500." This new adventure got its name from the architect and builder of this fine facility. He owns a bunch of land and some earth-moving equipment.

This race was filmed last Saturday as he debuted the 2011 track after new and expensive renovations. Plans are for a big turnout in the next couple of weeks as the weather warms a bit.

We proudly present The Bulldozer 500!

Here is a picture of Jerry, one of the regulars at the baitshop where I hang around. This picture was taken a couple of years ago, just after a snow storm and he had to make an emergency run for beer.

Jerry lost his driver's license years ago and now gets out and about on a lawmower. Jerry is a free spirit.

We're thinking about hiring him as a greeter at the gate of the Adult Theme Park.

Then we have Jimbo. He works at the store part time. Another free spirit. As you'll note he wore holiday specific attire for St. Patrick Day.

I heard him arguing with one of his buddies one time as they tried to name the Great Lakes.

It was hilarious.

Jimbo started naming them, and this is how it went: "Well, let's see. One of them is Lake Norman, another is Lake Hickory, another has to be Lake Wylie! I can't think of the other ones."

At that point I had already spit coffee out of my nose and I had to leave. I don't know if they ever figured our Lake James and Lake Rhodhiss were the other 2.

Anyway, here's Jimbo:

By any chance can you participate in the Bulldozer 500 while in the Hot Tub, or would you're hands be too full in the Hot Tub?

On second thought the Bulldozer 500 in the Hot Tub sounds more like all kinds of wrong instead of any kind of real fun.

Yea, they had some races yesterday.

It's a hoot to watch them.

The jawing is funnier than the racing.

I met up with a buddy of mine today and he has one of those 35mph traxxas trucks. That thing was a blast.
We start building the race track next week.

Hopefully this racing hobby won't be nearly as expensive as my current one.

You'd be surprised. I picked up one of those 20 dollar rc helicopter things, and i'm hooked. Next level up is like 130 dollars... and it goes nuts from there.

Go electric. The electric one I saw yesterday was faster than stink and the maintenance was zero.

I think these guys spent ~ $500 for the fast ones.
