Anybody used EBC Blue Stuff NDX Race Pads
Have been reading up on the Blue Stuff pads. Supposedly they are equivalent to Hawk HT10, DTC70. Price is lower. How do well do they stop the car and how well do they hold up?

I just put a set on and will let you know.
But this is only my second HPDE event, so I'm no expert.
The shop that installed my Dewitts radiator said the are prone to catching on fire.
But since this is my second event I should be fine.

Ebc
I have tried 3 different EBC blue compounds, last being
the DM 2116 . I think this is the compound in the NDX.
Pads worked well no fading, good bite worked well with the ABS. I have a stoptech BBK kit. I will be running Monday with 4 zo6's. 2 with EBC . 1 with PFC 01. and 1 with CL6.All cars have Brembo's or Stoptech"s. We will be out for 3 -4 hours. Should be interesting to see how the brakes compare to each other.

Ebc
I have been really busy finally found some work. First session my buddy ran EBC for the first time. He is a PFC 01 fan. Well he hated the first session. I told him he was driving too hot and he needed to get off the 01 compound and transfer the EBC compound on his rotors.
He signed up for all 3 sessions so he could drive 7 hours if he wanted. At the end of the day he was impressed that the brakes never faded even after driving for a hours straight. The brakes are extremely consistent and he would use again. we have not changed pads to check the wear rate. He still thought the 01 had a shorter braking distance and had a better initial bite but cost wise the EBC blues were a value. Cl worked similar to the 01 but appeared to wear faster need to measure to confirm.

I ran 5 hours at watkins glen and 4 hours at lime rock on a set and loved them. They also are not too bad on the street. I only got 9 track hours from the set and I am on my 2nd set now will be doing watkins glen and Vir in a few weeks for the price I think they are the best bang for the buck.

I am a DTC-70/60 fan with over 20 track days experience on these pads. I just switched to the EBC blue pads and will be testing them tomorrow. I feel spoiled by how great the Hawk pads work. This should be an interesting test

Burning Brakes
Wow, old thread. I helped develop the blue and orange compounds on a C6Z06 and Gallardo and the latest compounds are quite robust and rotor friendly, unlike a lot of race pads. On my Z06 I found wear comparable to the Hawk DTC70.
