Default 275/35/18 all around on Z06 wheels

Does anyone have any experience here running 275's all around on square Z06 wheels? I found an excellent deal on a set but I'm not sure if it is enough tire. Should I wait and look for 295's?

My car is a stock 03 Z.

That is a standard setup for many time trialers and has been run many times.

The 295/30/18 Hoosier fits on a 10.5" pretty much perfect.

That being said, I have run the 275/18 Hoosiers back to back, on the same track/same day, and they are every bit as fast. To me, they actually "feel" a little bit better. The 275's are only about 10-12mm narrower.

They work really well on our cars and they fit nearly perfectly on an 18" C5Z wheel.

I agree with drivinhard. The 275 feels better than a 295 to me. Must be the extra sidewall.

With R888s you might feel a bit under-tired (I did on 305s), but get the setup and move on to something stickier once you adjust (they are certainly better than street tires.

What are your usage plans?

Pretty sure you will have to run without AH/TC on.

Would stock 18s on all corners fit over a big brake kit?

Depends on the brakes and which stock 18s you're talking about. I run 2001 Z06 Alcoas all around and they clear my Wilwood SL6Rs fine. I also have a set of C6 Grand Sport front wheels I got to test a smaller tire setup for the class we race in and those clear fine as well.
