Default Back on Track (VIR)

Spent the winter transforming the wife's baby for the track. It's been 4 plus years away from the track and she couldn't be happier! Too bad it was cut short by the weather. She spent her first day back coming up to speed and can't wait till the next event to lean on it even harder.

Here's a few track shots from Saturday!

The happy camper!!!

Sorry I missed you. I was looking to meet 4 forum members who indicated they were coming. I worked all day Friday with the Comp School, so not much free time. Only found one of the four. I think you were coming in the entrance when I was leaving about 7:00 pm. Thought I saw the 24 of your car number in the dark when you turned in. Hope to meet you and your wife in March.

Glad she enjpoyed it.

I'm in Hillsborough. We need to set up something to identify one another. It would be nice to meet some other NC folks.

I did meet a couple guys from Mebane which is just down the road from me.

Shrek I was Running HPDE 1 at VIR also, I was #108 red C6. I remember being behind the ZR1 at the start of session 1.
My first time on track at VIR. Saturday was great weather but Sunday was was a Snow day after the first round for most.
I wish I'd known you were taken pictures I'd had you take a pic of me. My wife still doesn't believe I'm doing track days.

Next time I'm at the same track event as you I have to stop by and say HI.

What tires did you decide to run Jeff?

Looking at those pictures makes me miss the track and friends. it's been eight years since I last hit the track. Those times hanging out after a day of racing was the most fun I had.

I want to try the turns. Not sure how it will perform. With auto and stall converter though.
