What a GREAT race to watch. The coverage was good the track is absolutely beautiful and the anouncers were into it. What a pleasure it was to see some great racing and race cars. Those Ferraris are just plain FAST! Thank god the weather was good and I didn't have to listen to " boogity , boogity , boogity" ! Dp Corvettes are awesome.

COTA is an awsome track - great spectator venue. Walking trails surround the facility with cross-walks to the infield. The surrounding trails and hills provide spectacular views of the track with its many elevation changes and turns.
Fogart/Gurney brought the Gainsco Corvette DP in first, with other Corvette DP's in fourth, and fifth. Bill Auberlen was on fire winning both the CTSCC and the Rolex GT class! The Porsche's covered four of the top five finishers in GT.
Boris Said and Eric Curran were driving the only non-DP Corvette in GT. They finished 13th but did post the fastest lap in GT (2:09.009).

I went just for the race on Sat. Drove down from Dallas with my wife and 2 yr old girl. We had a great time and the track was really worth checking out. Hope to catch an F1 race there in the future but wanted to at least see a race there before we move to Los Angeles. We used to go to Sebring every yr for the 12 hr. for my Birthday so this race was a sort of replacement for that. I was not disappointed! I took a few shots that I may post up.
