The Nürburgring skirted bankruptcy last year with (IIRC) input from local government. Now it's actually happening. Of interest to me is that they are allowing bidding on *parts* of the thing, so you could buy the Nordschliefe without having to buy the new track or the hotels or the amusement park or...

The Bernie story itself isn't new but the news that the prosecuter is ready to actually file charges is. That could mean BIG changes to F1.
