Default Drivetrain slop?

Used to feel pretty tight, but it seems at low rpm slouching it around corners feels like the driveshaft is flopping all over. Once some rpms hit, it's fine. Is this the rubber couplings in the torque tube?

I would check them you don't want this to happen.

There are questionable aftermarket options from vendors here, and I've heard of a stock BMW guibo fitting right in place as well.

From what I have read, you need some give in the system. Some guys put a solid on one end and the oem on the other.

Hopefully a member who has actually done it will pick up on this.

Everyone should read the thread in the link before you start making uninformed upgrades.

And for the record, I have been running the BMW 12mm ones for years but change them every 2 or 3 years. As far as I can figure out, Lemforder is the OEM for BMW and GM, I have also used the Febi version but the Lemforder is different. I didn't have any issues with the Febi but have stuck with the Lemforder for the last two replacements.

I run the RPM (Driveshaft Shop) couplings alum. I have had good
luck with them and my high hp 346.
