Default C5 Trailer Hitch

Anyone here pull a small trailer with their C5/C6 to and from the track? Looking to get one in the next few months to carry the track tires, cooler, canopies, ect....any suggestion on a decent, removable hitch or a hitch that is mostly invisible?

Here's how mine was done. DMC Racing in MA does my work. They used the rear crash bar as the anchor point. It's braced in all directions and solid as hell. Take the plate off, undo the one through bolt and the chute or ball comes right off. Only leaves a 1 inch hole in the cover.

I just used a harbor freight 4x4 trailer. The interior frame rail pocket is PERFECT for fitting a drag pack in there. My rears are 295x16s so its really tight...but there's no play. The front box I just got from Amazon and wholes tools and one 5 gallon can of M1 meth for the week. I also picked up two jerry can holders that are mounted on the fenders (had to do some bracing, and strap the two together across the trailer) so I can carry 10 gallons of race fuel if needed. Tows great...at 90mph

Probably going to have to get one made, the only one I see available won't clear my Tigershark exhaust.

I am going to fab up something like that discontinued Reese hitch with the flat draw bar. have a draw bar with a ball on it, and one with a tow hook on it.

I pulled a DrawTite off a customer's car that he didn't want, so I am going to modify that so that the part the receiver goes into is what comes off the hitch so it will clear my Corsa Tigershark exhaust....and so it is less visible. Going to go to Harbor Freight and pick up one of their 4x8 folding trailers and cut it down to 4x6 by taking 1' of each end. That way I can put a 2 tuff boxes and the track tires on it with out stacking anything other than folding chairs and a canopy.
