Default WTB - Weld Alumastar or V-Series fronts.

I'm in the market for either a set of Weld Alumastars or the V-Series fronts for my updated drag pack. New or used, tires or none... Looking for a set in black.

Let me know if you've got a set or know someone who does.

Thanks Mark, I'm going to hold put for a lightly used set first. I've got a line on a badly used set for $1000, but I want to see if I can do any better.

No longer looking for a set.

Just ordered a set of Weld Full Throttle skinnies from Carlyle Racing today. Searched around a bunch in the racing community and he has the best price by $50 a pair. As they are brand new this year I assume I'll be one of the first vettes sporting them.

Its going to be a long month until they arrive!

I'll let you know in a few weeks when they show up. I'm thinking they are going to match my CCW's well once they beadlock'd. Might plasti-dip the center of the CCW's as well to finish the look. Realistically it'll be a month before all that comes together though.

Well this plan went to crap pretty quickly. Just got off the phone with Mark who talked to Weld today and was informed that Weld hasn't even finished the tooling for the Full Throttle's yet, and wasn't able to give any sort of timeline...

So, I have two choices....

Wait until who knows when for the Full Throttles

OR

Have Mark send me a set of the V-Series that he has in stock.

I was planning on going to the track in May for some testing and would have liked to have the skinnies on the car for that, but I guess I could always just run the street setup up front.

The only other issue with waiting is that my car has a photo shoot scheduled for next month, and part of that was going to have it in street trim, and then race trim as sort or a Jekyll and Hyde theme...

Honestly, the V-Series will match my CCW's just fine....I just wanted the new kid on the block ya know.

Anyone care to chime in?
