What are the benefits of either.

Motor is somewhere around 650-700hp 434. 4" Z28 cowl scoop. Going cowl induction.

Back in the early 70's Holley engineers recommended that all Chevy owners with 750/780 carbs use the four inch tall 14" tall truck filter element as it was the least restrictive filter that would fit into the cold air boxes available for Corvettes and Camaros. Now you have better choices with K&N and AirHog elements available.

Go with the air cleaner that has the least restrictive element and fits inside your cowl induction cut out. If you're making that much horsepower, you don't want your filter element restricting the air flow to the carburetor.

A 16 inch air cleaner wont fit . It will hit the distributor.

I'm using a 14" with a 4" filter on mine but I
