BTW - I called about the paddock passes because they didn't come up as an option to buy when I bought my tickets as they were supposed to. The guy told me they are giving them for free to anyone that buys tickets in December so they are automatically included. Saved me $60. ($30 per ticket)

Yep, and the sound of those engines bouncing off all the tall buildings will definitely be intense.

I must admit, based on the number of responses, I'm surprised at the lack of interest in this event on this forum.

PS: The Viper crowd will be out in force as well.

One possible reason for the lack of interest may be that this event is a long way off yet and another reason could be that people that attend races on any kind of a regular basis, know that street circuits typically are the most boring to watch.

There is very little opportunity for cars to pass and very restricted vantage points to watch from. Grandstand seats at this type of race have very limited visibility and most fans get bored quickly.....

I will be there but waiting for IMSA to hopefully make this one of the races with a Corvette Corral. Good chance they will. I see where IMSA has set up a section of the Ravens parking lot as a "Corral Area" They just have not been specific yet....

We have Grand Prix tickets for the weekend near the ALMS Paddock & Car Corral.

According to the local news media, as of yesterday, 12/27/10, 20,000 tickets have been sold so far. Still no word on a major sponsor.
