Default Custom Pickups. Lets see them!!

Decided to turn the dodge 3500 up a notch then went whole hog turning the dodge into one bad looking street truck that matches the dragster Dropped it off at the paint shop before heading out to Calif last trip. Got everything inside and out painted. Got home wed night, at the Chevy place Thursday getting a 2 inch drop shackle installed and the custom black visor. Always liked those visors.
Have two names for it. Trojan horse cause its one pulling son of a gun and command center cause none of the toys get used unless that Dodge is rolling.

With all the chrome thats on it, she's right snazzy now.
2000 Dodge 3500. 5 speed manual. AB air box, 45+HP injectors, Edge Juice with Attitude. 4 inch turbo back exhaust. Do have a muffler in that equation somewhere.

Lets see what you got. Post um up if its custom and let us know what you got in it ..

Still not sure I understand what you were talking about but custom is lifted. Bigger tires, Painting, anything anyone is or has been doing with a pickup truck. i'm sure there a lot of guys on here that have trucks and as much as all of us enjoy customizing things i'm sure there a few that have spent a few dollars on their trucks.
Lot of threads on other cars and didn't see any on trucks. Maybe I didn't explain it right but hope that helps.

Cluttered is the word that first came to mind looking at the OP's truck, but if we all had the same taste this world would be one boring place.

The 56..........sweet!

I love trucks too, I've done more than a few things to mine. I was just hoping it was a joke and those stripes and lights weren't for real...

That '56 is absolutely amazing though!

HAHA You are totally right ZEE but its a work truck on the inside, having fun fixing it up now on the outside and decided to keep it instead of buying a new one cause there ain't a think wrong with her and she hauls the toys with the mods I've done on the motor.
I'm use to cluttered and lots of things to look at at the job so its natual its going to slide over to the trucks.
Twin rear veiw cameras on the monitor, they really help, firestone air bag controller , those are self explained, edge juice with attitude controller , is the power, That yellow hour meter is for the generator in the back of the bed so I know when to change the oil. Two switches in the lower part of the photo forward and rear lights.. Red thing on top the radar between the seats is a 110v switcher. I use my laptop as my gps.. Carry several laptops in the big truck and instead of using the small garmins like most have in your cars I use Delorme street you can buy off e bay for about 60 dollars that turns your laptop in the best GSP system you can ask for. Lot more detail and thats how I nav on the big truck so that invertor powers the laptop on the dash and just sold the fountain offshore but I traveled up and down the east coast with that boat having fun fishing with the guys on the fishing forum I play on so always going to different places .
Radar. Thats the only thing that is not functional on the truck..
That one is for fun.
KA police radar. Transducer in the upper top window . I have a blast with that thing. YOu let a Ricer come flying by me in and out of traffic or even someone that thinks its a INDY road and have a radar detector in their car. I'll have you tucked in behind someone minding your manners quick, and 7 is the record so far. Caught a lady on a cell phone talking, all over the road,, Hit the switch she hit the brakes and pulled in behind a car about 200 yards in front of me. We rode about 20 miles. Every time she pulled out, Id hit the switch back in she'd come. 7 times before she took the off ramp . We were all laughing so hard we almost had to pull over so that one is clutter but well worth the effort to keep it in there. She's nothing but a work truck. Only time she leaves the yards is when something is hooked behind her. Corvette trailer, race trailer, two boats so I agree with you 100% but all the gizmos and switches make it very functional for what its used for.
No lack of switches and gauges on the big work truck either but that one pays for the toys....
Thats the laptop I"m talking about also. Cheap way to get the best gps system there is is Delorme street or Garmin Street . Both will give you 100x more info then the small stick up gps systems you buy for the car or truck. Both are under 80 dollars to..
First camera is for backing up , hooking up. Look at the monitor...
Second camera now is on the very back of the 48 foot race trailer. I know whats moving up on either side of me before they make their move and also can see directly behind me even motorcycles tucked in trying to catch free wind. So they have a reason....
Vhf Marine radio gives me instant weather, and I can check on wave heigh and changes while on the way to the beach with the marine weather channels on there and I use VHF in the race helmet talking back to the GF . ITs our two way communication systems in racing so I stuck one on there..

Thanks guys, here's little more about my 56.
It's a 350/350 combo with a Camaro front clip and rear end. Tilt steering wheel, bucket seats and custom dash/gauges.
A tilt hood and lots of body work too. Lots of other stuff, but I won't bore you here.

I love that '56. My fist vehicle was a '59 Apache - same exact body style. One day I will find another and drop a 409 and a 4 spd into it.

oh my eyes! that there's a rolling jc whitney catalog on overdrive. but that's only my opinion, certainly not yours, and if you love it that's all that matters.

I havn't had enough money to do anything to my new Ram 2500.. PLANS are front and rear bumper, larger tires, clearance lights and eventually DPF/EGR delete and front e-locker (no one makes a rear engagable locker for it, that I know of)
