Very impressive for a car to set that many track records and it didn't even overheat

I was at Inde (Config. 4) two weeks ago and the fast cars weren't in the same time zone! Looks like my order goes in on Friday (6 Nov) as my dealer says the constraint for their order option (one allocation) is lifted that day. @ invoice, too. I know Nineball has seen some lower prices, but I just can't stand the wait.

Thank goodness the "most track capable Corvette ever" has become just a "certified supercar". Perfect timing. But seriously, can't wait to see what C8 brings. And can't wait for this (C7) bad dream to end...

Vettes, Vipers, VWs I like em all. The Viper's expected low production numbers pushed my wife to order a '16 Z07 rather than a Viper. We tend to keep cars a long time and the expected availability of parts is part of choosing a vehicle for us.

I suspect (and hope like heck at the same time), that a C7 Z06 won't out live the Viper production wise, so parts availability should be about the same. Congrats on your purchase, but given what's been going on I would never keep it beyond the warranty period. PS kinda amusing to see a VW listed besides a Vette and a Viper

I agree about production in model years but I'm hoping that the number of Vettes will justify better parts support ten years from now. I think the number of C7 Z06s is already close to the number of GTS Vipers produced over their production life. At this point in time I'm betting that an out of warranty Z will one of the easier cars of this generation to keep running. That bet may bite me but the Z's are enough fun to justify the gamble.
Driving my 65 HP bug brings a smile to my face and that's what I look for in toys. A car does not have to be perfect or the best of the best to earn my purchase and praise.

As it does not for the current (and growing) competition and, as it did not in the previous generations of the Corvette. A fact well demonstrated and celebrated at the tracks all over the world.
