Default street graffiti the C5

As I'm sure those of you that have seen my previous threads know, I'm very "outside the box" when it comes to my Vette. I was looking at painting it again for the xxx rootbeer show, but, sadly I will not be able to make it :/ I have a car I'm painting, as well as two other peoples' wheels, and doing a photo-shoot in Bellevue for a guy form bimmerforums on that Sunday...busy busy busy. This weekend however, I'm starting on what will likely be my longest running project on this car. I will be hand drawing every inch of the car with my own mural, in sharpie, graffiti style. Since it's plasti-dipped, I can draw right on the car, and not worry about the original paint! I'll make a thread in the following weeks to document my progress, look forward to some serious, one-off work this time, you thought lime green was crazy O_O

I debated with myself a long time whether or not to reply to your post. I don't know you and you don't know me, you may not care what I think and in the end it is your car and you can do what you want with it. I just hope that some local taggers don't think this is a cool new venue for their art and begin tagging cars with their particular form of "art".

That's my "devil's advocate" moment for today.

The only people that tag cars, houses, and such, are @$$ hole kids, that would probably have done it regardless of seeing it on my car. It is very much frowned upon in the community to do that to someone else's property. The difference between some sloppy 14 year olds' first-time free hand, and what I will be doing to my car, will be profound.

A little early afternoon freehand, and I've come up with my first piece. This will go over the passenger side, lower-rear fender, in a more completed capacity of course. My goal for the week is to have this finished on the car. Enjoy

First ink on the car. I was waiting all day to start, since it rained so hard in Marysville all morning, and afternoon (good excuse to go to the Everett craft brewfest), so I started with something small.

hey Erik man I meant NO disrespect to you....Diff'rent strokes that's all. I do like the Lime plasti-color..that would be plenty striking enough for me. wish the best on your "project"..I have removed the offending term

Its all good, I wasn't offended, I just thought it came off a little silly, and I'm sorry that my response came off abrasive. Regardless, I am aware that this is pretty wild, and as time has gone on, I've also noticed that people absolutely hate it, or totally love it, nature of the beast I suppose :/
