I've got an eye on a 1965 C2 convertible and am looking for a local shop experience with mid-year C2 cars to do a PPI. Any recommendations around Portland?

I would give Mark Chace a call at 503-655-2540. He owns Chace Automotive and is highly recommended in the corvette circle here in Portland. He is not cheap and it can be hard to get an appointment with him as he stays busy. He has worked on my 92 since right after I bought it in 2002. I found him by asking other corvette owners who to go to and everybody I talked to recommended him. Hope it works out for you. SAVE THE WAVE

A quick thank you for the referral, and a positive review for Mark Chace. He did a great PPI for me on a 1965 convertible, on short notice, and was a consummate professional and great communicator. He gave me a thorough review of the car, and also fixed a few things that needed attention.

And now I'm the new owner of a 65 convertible in goldwood yellow. :-) But, I hate to admit it, I've shipped the car down to No. Cal., so the PacNW community is down one car! :-(
