I just bought a quart of Evercoat VPA and the label says its for both SMC and Fiberglass. (Part No. 870)

So, can I use this to fill gaps and bond panels on a 1963 Corvette with non-SMC panels?

and

Could I also use this material for a small repair job on my SMC-panel '94 Corvette?

I ordered No. 870 - thinking it was for Non-SMC Fiberglass only, so was a bit surprised when this can arrived.

Any help is appreciated.

The Evercoat Vette Panel Adhesive (870 or 880) CAN be used to BOND and FILL in areas on YOUR Corvette.

BUT..when dealing with SMC...it can ONLY be used to do surface filling repairs on SMC....AND NOT BOND SMC panels.

SO...it depends on the type of damage on your '94.
