Help & opinions needed

So when you first get in your corvette and start her up, the dash gauges go all the way across and come back then it starts. --Normal

Now while I'm driving and get on it a little and come to a stop at a light or a stop sign, I see the speedometer gauges doing that again going all the way across again. ---Not sure if its normal

What could this be and is it a problem?

Something loose. :ack:

dvilin 06-10-2014 08:11 AM

Not normal but not sure what the problem is.

Not sure either, but like above I'd check starting in the electronics because it seems to be replicating a cold-start situation. I'd start w. battery cables, to starter motor and see if they're all tight and in good condition. Used to be something about steering column, too. Tell us what you find.

Is she throwing any codes?

First time I have heard of this problem. It does sound like something is loose somewhere. Gage pod is easily removed so you could check the connector. GL and let us know what you find.
