For the street I would pop them off and sell them unless your saving them for the track. BS tire for the street. Hard rain and your asking for a accident. After dry weather oil comes up when you get a rain.
This and with water your compromising your safety and others.
I wouldn't even mount a set on my car I'd gladly sell them away first.
Z07 your giving up better street tires to buy it GM should have offered a choice which tire you wanted but the bean counters saw a
money savings (profit) by charging more.
I sure the Michelin's SS tire cost them more per set.

I hope you a person of great faith. These tires are totally useless in the wet. You can do one of two things. 1. You can dive into the pits for wets every time it starts to rain, or 2. Do what I did and sell them. I sold my Cup tires for $1400 & purchased a set of Super Sports which I payed just over $2200. I know that's a chunk more money to sink into tires on a brand new car, but faced with Florida's upcoming monsoon season, there's no way my Z06/07 could have left the garage in all that rain.

Good luck. Make someone in Arizona happy.

The Pirelli's have been running pretty well for me. Getting the cup2's shipped home so I can use them on the track later.

after reading most of the responses on this thread, seems one would need to bring a change of underwear when driving the ZO7 in the rain.

Nothing like a good dose of reality to convince people of how serious things can get. I'm sure this driver was "holding on to the wheel tight"...nothing works when you're going too fast for these tires in the rain and too fast is a VERY low speed. I found a little over 30 MPH was too fast in my case and it was a medium rain. It's just not worth it.

Thanks for the picture...but by the grace of God, there I go.
