Default Brake pads from JEGS.

Ordered a full set of pads from JEGS. went for the Z23 style. I was surprised that the order was back ordered until AUGUST 30!! Must be a great demand for Vette owners to get pads that will reduce the dust on their wheels.

I ordered my Z26's June 30, before I even picked up the car, hoping to have them by the time I returned home. Still waiting on delivery. I sure hope I don't have to wait till August 30th. Might have to send an email to Jegs and see what's up.

Ever since I did this test they have been swamped with orders.
It's worth the wait for the low dust, and the fair pricing without the Corvette Tax.

I was lucky to get them with no wait, but even if you have to wait for them they are well worth it... in the meantime you can sell your assorted brushes and wheel cleaners because you won't need them after your PowerStops come in.

Been trying to order a set of either Z23's or Z26 pads. I have not been able to see the rears listed anywhere. Is there a separate part number or formulation for the rear. Or is a matter of calling up to order??
Thanks??

Front 419-Z26-1474A
Rear 419-Z26-1718

Those are the numbers for Z26 pads I ordered from Jegs. They are for Z51 calipers. Not sure of numbers for non Z51 calipers.

I ordered online.

Default Low dust pads

I have 2000 miles on my 2016 Stingray with Z51. Just read all the threads about Z23 and Z26 pads. What is the difference between the two as I want to replace mine because of the dust. Are these ceramic? Thanks!

They are a carbon fiber and ceramic compound. The Z26 has a SS shim on the back and the Z23 has a rubber shim. The SS shim will withstand a little more heat, not a big deal if your not doing a lot of aggressive braking.

Default Z23 brake pads

JEGS sent new e-mail. Front pads not available until 8/31/16. Called and cancelled order. Checked CARiD and they have them in stock. Placed order. Should have them 5-7 days.

Some say the braking material is the same and only the backing plates are different between the Z23 and Z26, but one member had an issue with his rotors turning a copper color with the Z23's and has since switched to Z26 pads. I'm not sure if it was an isolated problem with his set of Z23s or if they may actually have a different pad composition. Either way there is no dust to speak of, but there have been no issues reported with the Z26's... And at 122-125 a set delivered, I'd recommend going for the Z26's. I love mine and so does anyone I've ever known to have purchased them.
