About that dead pedal for the left foot...
Is it possible to adjust it forward so it provides a bit more room to stretch out that left leg a wee bit more? Seems like that would be a big help for those with longer legs than average. Also seems like it wouldn't be that difficult to make it adjustable.

I've never really looked at it to see what's under it, did you take a peek to see what's there?

I've read of several tall 6'2"+ guys saying that they fit just fine and was wondering if they did anything with the dead pedal.

I'm 6'2" and no problems. The seats adjust several different ways including the assumed front/back, plus up/down, tilt, bolsters, and reclining seat backs. As mentioned the seat-limit switch can be overridden as well. If you are looking at a C7, check out all the seat adjustment possibilities. While at Spring Mountain the instructors demonstrated the correct seat position which turned out to be ideal for track work (and cruising I later discovered), no one in my class made any comments about not being able to get the seat adjusted properly. IMO a well-designed system.

I have the A8 and I'm 6'2 with the A8 I'm able to stretch my left leg between the brake pedal and the left foot rest and I can't touch the firewall. Try it it's really comfortable on long trips with the cruise control on.

I do the same with my '14 automatic. The biggest issue is on the passenger side when my son who is 6'2" as well has his knees almost in the dash. There was definitely more room on that side in my C5's and C6.

You can pop it out. Use a large screw driver or trim removal tool and it comes right out. While you can't adjust it, you might try to put something at the bottom to adjust the angle - that's what I did....
