Default Driver seat creak / noise (How do you remove the seat back cover?)

Hey forum members,

I'm new to the forum so here is my, "Hello!"

I have this weird noise coming from the top half of my seat. When I move side to side I can hear what sounds like a plastic noise flexing.

Any idea what it might be? It has been getting slightly louder now that it's getting a bit more fresh around here.

Also, how can I go about removing the plastic cover on the rear of the seat?

Thank you all for the help!

Which seats do you have? Base seats or Competition?

The passenger side seat in my '16 started a popping noise right after I got her home. Luckily it stopped before I could get it to the dealer. I suggest a trip to the dealer.

I don't really trust anyone working in the car. Especially the way dealers are. They'll have the car for a few days & who knows what could possibly go wrong.

Mine has the same thing a squeaking noise on the upper back when I move my shoulders from side to side. It started about a month after I got the car, it has the base seats. There are some other threads on this, and also some threads on how to remove the cover. I don't know what I'm going to do yet, hate to have the dealer remove the seat and possibly scratch the door sill etc.
