I did it myself. Went from blue leather to black with blue stitching (colored the stitching myself). Took most of the day but I wasn't rushing. First seat took about three hours to strip and recover, second I got down to about two hours. Went from all blue leather to black with sueded inserts and used forum vendor Trunk Monkey (subchev I believe) to get the leather from, great vendor
There's a 2nd 3LT I'm gonna look at. It has the comp seats with the sueded inserts. But also another 8000 more miles and was in Michigan till it found its way to GA via auction.
Cool! Good luck It can be done but it is he!! on your fingertips. They hurt a few days after including sore forearms and then about a month later the dead skin from the tips start peeling For a while I wasn't sure what that was from but it is the only thing that makes sense
