Default What's the best supercharger for C7

i am in the market for a kit but kinda undecided on the kit .... Procharger sounds very good with the blow off valve but I know it does have a lag .... What's out there that I can make 600rwhp with just long tubes and exhaust without touching my fuel system upgrade

My personal choice would be the edelbrock eforce system, its extemely well engineered and comes with the best water to air intercooler system on the market, if your interested in getting a price please let me know

There is no "best" blower, it depends on your plans for the car. Both magnuson and e-force make great PD systems and there are a few very good centri versions out there as well. First choice is whether you want a PD (roots) style blower or a centrifical one. My last blower was a maggie on a Jeep SRT. The PD blower hits hard right off the line...nothing beat me across an intersection. But the vette has traction issues, even with stock power levels and centri systems come on a little bit later.

I'm getting an A&A kit put on mine next week. Lots of great info/advice here to help you decide. There are even some great discussions on the pros/cons of the various options.

Depends on how much power you want.personally I'm getting a procharger for my c7zo6. More power and top end power.

i would go with a&a kits with ti trim head unit since it the best price and you can upgrade the head unit later, for a very reasonable price (don't need to sell the old head unit you can trade it for a bigger one)

I was at 595rwhp with an ECS 1500 kit and American Racing long tubes.

If you are in the market for a centrifugal supercharger kit with the least amount of "lag", then you should take a look at our supercharger kit. Our restrictor plate design offers the highest amount of TQ of any of the centrifugal kits on the market hands down.
We also offer our base kit with the Novi 1500/Vortech T-trim right from the start, no need to upgrade later.

No lag what so ever.
The standard kit with a good tune for your gas makes 600 rwhp easy.
(Plus thats the same bracket and belt design that just powered the first 8 second C7Z pass!)

Just put my buddie Joes 2014 on the dyno the other day.
Stock M7 car,
D1SC on 8.5psi ~tuned for 91
Stone stock made 601 rwhp SAE on DynoJet

Heck you could snag that used on Andy is selling for $3700.
Thats cheap HP right there.

I will say, both my previous 1500 and now 2200r setup from you have near zero lag. I'm often equate it to an on/off switch. I know a quality tune is also part of the equation, but the roots blower on my CTS-V didn't feel this potent.

I went with ECS. Great design, and fantastic performance and torque. Very easy install as well.

I'm on the fence about going to A&A as well with my Z06.
Then use a Ysi head unit and run around with a 1000 hp. Lots of choices!

Procharger has a good setup with the F1X and their intake manifold.

I've had it up for sale for months and nobody wants it. It's like brand new and 100% complete. I even have the install manual.
Every one who has inquired about it either did nothing or ended up getting one of our systems.
Of course I did offer them a helluva deal on mine.

A&A SC Kit

Make more power than a new C7Z for a fraction of the cost with your Stingray.
