Default 1995 LT1 wont start

I am at a lose. i changed the water pump out on my 1995 and everything was fine no leaks and drove the car for a few days. brought it home 2 nights ago and put it under the cover. Went out this morning took the cover off to drive it the next couple of days and it wont start. Cranks smells flooded seams to be getting fire somewhat.
Anyone have any ideas what would cause it to run fine when i parked it and then not want to run from just sitting there?
i know the plug to the Optispark is broken but was running fine that way before.
Hate missing some of the great weather we are having here in Indiana.

Did you drain it first before you pulled the water pump?

Yes not completely out of the motor. I was worried about it but once I got it back together it ran fine. Was fine the night I brought it home and covered it up and today it won't start

Get a fan on the opti and a vacumm on the opti vent hose a bit of heat going in on the other hose and pray. clean and check the pigtail.
