I didn't read the OP carefully, I thought they were just selling the trim tag itself.

Front end sits high - no motor, possibly. And is that a sun roof in the hard top I see?

EDIT - Damn, I need my coffee, or else the computer was slow to load. I swear there was only one pic to start with!

The sunroof-in-the-hard-top is certainly a, well, "unique" attribute.

I've seen only one other, at Carlisle, and that one had a cracked, yellowed plexiglass caulked in.

Ad says nice solid birdcage?

Quite a contrast to what the trim tag looks like.

For $5200, I LIKE it! Even trashed, these cars are beautiful.

If the rust statements are true, it's not a bad car too turn around for skilled Corvette (not a contracted out restoration) enthusiast as a nice driver. Dennis

They should have left it in the barn it was found in, and set fire to the barn........

Before I even went and looked at the ad, somehow I just knew that it had to be a car from Valley in Bedford PA.

Looks to me like something corrosive to aluminum trim tags leaked from the glove box ... cause the birdcage or SS VIN tag didn't seem to be affected. Bill

"Reserve not met".

Yes, for $5200 I'd jump on it.

Maybe the seller should contact the guy who made this one. I saved the pic from an actual car I looked at about ten years ago.

The good news is that the trim tag is probably not a repop! The info that was once there was probably true.

Every part shown has significant corrosion showing. I find it hard to believe that the birdcage is solid. In most cases, cars with bad birdcage rust still look good on the outside. That car is the poster child for money pit projects.
