Corvette Mods is no longer a forum vendor. In addition, there have been several threads posted here complaining about them.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...=Corvette+Mods

More forum members should go to the Transactions Feedback and look for threads about vendors that they're not familiar with before purchase. That's what the Transactions Feedback forum was created for. There's at least one thread there about this vendor.

When I ordered the wrong color Lloyd's mats, obviously i couldnt return them....but they let me get the right color for half off. Other than that, it was just small things...skip shift, mild2wild.

but then, they are local to me so i could just show up over there... maybe why i didnt have problems....dunno

sucks so many did.

Very True - If folks would spend a little more time in transaction feedback and leave positive and negative comments we all we be better off.

I stopped using them, years ago, poor service while other venders had the same items with no issues.

Horrible to deal with, to get dropped by CF is enough said in itself.

Customer service was difficult to get a hold of. But if you log in and put something in your cart, sales guy will be cold-calling you within 12 minutes. Corvettetax to the max! But they give you points!

I've had two issues with them:
-Ordered a GM suede wrapped steering wheel for an automatic, they sent one for a manual car (no paddles). They would not ship a replacement in advance of receiving the wrong part back. So I had to pay to ship it back and it took about 3 weeks from the day I shipped until I had a replacement in hand.
-Second was when I ordered the black side marker lights. I broke a stock one and figured I may as well upgrade so I was looking around to find the best price. They happened to have them on sale, so I added then to the cart. As I was browsing some more, one of their ads popped up for free shipping on my order if I placed it in the next x minutes, so I went ahead and clicked that to proceed. However they still charged me shipping because I "couldn't combine a sale price with free shipping". Why would it offer it to me then since it knows what qs in my cart??

Neither is a huge deal, but just small frustrations, so I've been getting parts elsewhere lately.

I agree
Spent at least $5k on custom parts. They looked better than the GM paint job!

I have referred club members, all have been happy.

I think people just enjoy complaining about everything these days. Just turn on the news

People also have legitimate issues with vendors, so if you ordered parts to fix something, and they sent part of it with no communication, but you needed everything to fix it, then you emailed with no response, called with no call back and finally the other part shows up 2 months later, you would just think it's someone finding something to complain about?
