Default Looking to get my car painted in/around Spartanburg SC

Anybody recommend a good paint shop around Spartanburg SC for my c5?

Not looking for a show quality job, but still want something that is nice. My friend suggested a guy, but he hasn't done too many Corvettes and I don't want any surprises.

I've had most of my car's paint tuned up at:

Taylor Color and Collision

Taylor Color & Collision
104 Metrogate Court
Simpsonville, SC 29681-6036
PH: (864) 962-8224
Open Weekdays 8am-5pm

They have repainted both my front bumper, rear bumper, and touched up chips and scratches all over the car. They guarantee the work, and do an excellent job. With my vette being black, that is the hardest color to match, and they did it perfectly.

They also molded in my front licence plate filler, to give me a custom, smooth front bumper.

I highly recommend them for any Corvette body work!

Hi Clif,

I think we have met before when I was having my rear diff and new clutch installed. I'm intrigued about the front license plate filler. Getting ready to search and see if you have any pics posted.

You might want to check out the Rutherford County Corvettes,NC face book page and look for Wayne Haydock, he had his Vette painted by a shop in Spartanburg, but I can't remember the name. I'll shoot him a message and get back to ya. His car looked great to me. I had my wifes Jag painted by Mitchell Henderson in Greer,SC and they did an awesome job if Greer isn't too far for you. Henderson's body shop number is 1-864-334-5120 or 1-864-444-3739 If I was gonna paint mine tomorrow that's who I would call 1st. I'll let you know when I hear from Wayne.

OK, Wayne answered me. Matt Sanders at Image Body on Asheville Hwy in Spartanburg is who painted his C3. M&E in Roebuck,SC did his sons SS Camaro and it is awesome as well. Sorry I don't have a number or address on M&E. Hope that helps.
David T

There is a pic of his C3 on the Rutherford County Corvettes facebook page. Just scroll down til you see a really cool burnt orange metallic C3. His C3 is all drag car now.

I think I know the guy you are speaking of. I've only seen one car he has done. He painted my friends 1969 Mustang that is supercharged. It looked really good, and his shop is only 5 minutes from me.

He did cross my mind, but I thought all he did was old muscle cars.
