The wedding went a little longer than expected. The brunch event ended later than planned, and I only got to leave there at 11:30am. I arrived at the C & C about 15 mins later and there were just a few cars there. So I checked facebook and saw a live video that they had posted 8 minutes before I got there with pretty much every car leaving. FML.
I left and rode with the top down from West Palm straight to South Miami. The sun was so strong, and I ended up stuck in traffic for a while longer than the hour that it takes to get there. My forehead is now 100% purple. I guess summer's back full swing.
I'll be there again for the next one and will get there early as there won't be a random wedding to hold me up!
Hey, I saw your other post about washing your car as well.
I live in Miami (Brickell) but used to live in Broward, so I know the area.
I also commute to Plantation (Pine Island Rd and 595) for work though I'm only here about 50% of the time.
Do you want to wash your own car? If you prefer doing so, there's a spot I found in Hollywood that you can do so (I can't wash my car in my condo either. I usually do so in Coral Gables at a relative's, but might start doing it at this Hollywood wash if I know I'll hit rush hour on my way home).
I also have a great guy who can work on your car for aftermarket stuff, and reasonable pricing for top top notch work. Granted if you have a C7 you're probably well withing extended warranty, but if the mod bug hits soon let me know.
There is a cruise in every Friday in Davie FL 84/Flamingo rd area near Ruby Tuesday . There were several 60s vetts as well as some new ones. Also on Sunday night at Tijuana Taxi in Coral Springs open cruise in and there is always several vettes.
It was about to rain so the turn out was not good but got to briefly meet 3 vette onwers. C1 c5 and c6. Sandy(c6) john(c1) amd c5 onwer was a great guy but the name is escaping me right now.

Heads up, it's 300 bucks, includes lunch and obv. a full time instructor who rides with you (unless you're well experienced). It's a good chunk up front, but an amazing experience! You need a helmet, good life left on your pads, and a recent oil change.... that's it!
