Looks like Saturday's rain forecast is down to 30% now.

Fine drive down today, at the Omni now.

Forgot to ask the front desk about the car wash situation, will worry about that tomorrow. Didn't bring any of my gear, so will need to get it handled.

Going to take my son to the aquarium tomorrow, any other recommendations for an eight year old? Thanks.

We'll see you at the Omni in a few hours ... I've got wash supplies if you need to borrow. Find us a water hose and we'll be good to go.

Wish you were closer to me, that's a long drive, it just gets to me, especially since I have to drive it for work

Default Wash / Detailing !!!

I'm staying at the Omni Bayfront tower. In the parking garage, across the street, to the South, there is a wash / detailing company. In case you get worried about someone handling your baby, there is a Bentley Convertible and BMW 7 series over there now, so the Vette is in good hands.

Basic hand wash & vacuum runs $40. Can do full detail if you want.

Default Waiting list for registration on the deck?

Is their anyway to get on the waiting list?

I know this is a futile effort, but I’m going to try anyway. My husband and I are on our way down. And we would love (love love love) to make it on the deck. I know registration has been locked up for like months now, but I thought if someone wasn’t going to be able to make it we would LOVE to take their place.

It’s going to our new vette’s first show. We’re excited to bring her down.

I know we will have fun either way, but thought I would at least try. And she’s unique, and patriotic, blue with black and red interior. (We used to have a red white and blue one, but well, yeah…I hate 635!)

Here’s a pic.

See you all down there soon. What a beautiful drive!

Thank you to the Corpus Christi Club and all the volunteers. I can't speak for the rest, but my car was on the boat, and off, in short order. Seemed like everything went quite smoothly. Great memories for one eight year-old and Dad.

Did anyone get a final count on the number of Vettes on the flight deck?

Good to meet you too, Steve. They had a dozen who didn't make the trip. I bet those folks are kicking themselves.
