2025 Corvette ZR1 Deep Dive Videos (From Corvettes at Carlisle)
A Corvette Forum member recorded multiple 2025 Corvette ZR1 presentations during Corvettes at Carlisle for our viewing pleasure.
GM did a great job of giving us a ton of details pertaining to the all-new 2025 Corvette ZR1 during its reveal, even providing a deep dive into the history of how it came to be, as well as its historical significance. Regardless, it’s hard to get enough data regarding this incredible machine, which is truly a watermark in the iconic sports car’s 70+ years in existence. Thus, we were quite interested to take a peek at these videos recorded by Corvette Forum member MDK9950 at this year’s Corvettes at Carlisle event.
In the GM tent at Corvettes at Carlisle, Corvette Engineering Manager Michael Bailey provided us with a long discussion regarding the 2025 Corvette ZR1, all as part of the automaker’s Tech Talk series. During that discussion, Bailey revealed some interesting tidbits, including the fact that the car’s ZDK carbon fiber wing is made in Italy and has an RPO code of “TOM.” The car’s wing and underbody components are different from the Z06’s, while the ZR1’s carbon fiber wheels were made in collaboration with Australia’s Carbon Revolution.
In this next clip, we get a presentation from Team Corvette at the Main Stage, where Corvette Chief Engineer Josh Holder and Corvette Brand Manager Harlan Charles show off a 2025 Corvette ZR1 finished in black with Edge Blue wheels and stripes without the optional aero package.
Next, we have David Simpson, Team Corvette Propulsion Program Quality Manager. who hosted a presentation discussing the 2025 Corvette ZR1, as well as the E-Ray’s DCT gearbox and hybrid powertrain.
In this clip, the OP was able to get a nice, up close look at the Competition Yellow 2025 Corvette ZR1 cutaway car with the ZDK package.
Finally, we get to see the Corvette Team present the 2025 Corvette ZR1 on the Main State at Corvettes at Carlisle on Saturday. While there were obviously crowds everywhere this amazing machine was present, this presentation went a little bit better in that regard, thanks to organizer’s efforts, so we get a better look than in some of the other clips where crowds were eager to see it themselves.
Regardless, these clips are fantastic for anyone that wasn’t able to attend Corvettes at Carlisle, or perhaps didn’t make it to every 2025 Corvette ZR1 presentation there!
