2023 Corvette Z06 Pricing Uncovered by ‘Corvette Forum’ Member

2023 Corvette Z06

2023 Corvette Z06 pricing seems to mirror that of its predecessor, which means that it can get pretty expensive when options are added.

When GM revealed the 2023 Corvette Z06 recently, it gave us a lot of information to digest. But there were a few notable pieces of information missing from this unveiling as well, including things like the car’s quarter-mile time – though that was recently discovered by a Corvette Forum member. Now, another member and a popular YouTuber called Horsepower Obsessed – or Justin in real life – has uncovered 2023 Corvette Z06 pricing, another important number missing from the car’s reveal.

Justin spoke with two different salespeople at two different Chevrolet dealerships, and both gave him the same 2023 Corvette Z06 pricing information, so it’s safe to assume that these numbers are accurate. Both said that the C8 Z06 will start out at $87,000, which is within the realm of what most were speculating. That number also makes perfect sense in the grand scheme of things, as Justin points out in the video below.

Justin notes that the C7 Stingray started out at $51,995 when it originally launched, which was followed by the previous-gen Z06 at $78,995 – a difference of $27,000. Tack that same amount onto the base price of the C8 Stingray, and you’ve got roughly $87,000 dollars, ironically enough. Of course, that number is going to climb quickly when one starts tacking on options like higher trim levels and the coveted Z07 Package.

For the C7 Z06, upgrading to the 2LT trim cost $3,270, while the 3LT trim cost an additional $8,650. The convertible version ran an extra $7,500, while the Z07 Package added another $8,000 – and that didn’t include exposed carbon fiber ground effects, which cost an additional $4,000. Assuming these prices are similar for the C8 Z06, tacking them on gets the car’s price well over $100k, without even bothering to add on things like upgraded seats or the many other customization options that will be available for the track-focused Corvette.

After building a theoretical loaded C8 Z06, Justin guesstimates that such a machine will cost somewhere between $130-$150k, which is obviously a ton of money, but still far less than some of the car’s competition like the Porsche 911 Turbo S, which has a base price far higher than a loaded Z06 might. Thankfully, however, we don’t have to pay that much money to get behind the wheel of the latest and greatest Corvette, unless you just have to have all the things.
