’57 Corvette Wins Best of Show at Monterey Event
Best of Shows don’t come easy in the world of Corvettes, but we certainly see why this one took home the grand prize in Monterey, CA.
The 1957 gem, owned by Jon Dallons, is simply breathtaking and earned more than 30 percent of the vote to win the grand prize at the 6th Annual Monterey Coast Corvette Cruise.
The Aztec Copper-and-beige beauty beat out 75 other Corvettes in the event’s Show-n-Shine competition to win Best of Show.
Jon and his wife, Jan Dallons, bought the C1 Corvette 17 years ago and restored it. This year marks the second time the couple has won the event’s Best of Show, and it’s pretty clear why.
