‘Corvette Forum’ Member Takes Delivery of Gorgeous Elkhart Lake Blue C8 Corvette Z06
This non-Z07 equipped Elkhart Lake Blue C8 Corvette Z06 makes a case for skipping that pricey option.
The all-new 2023 Corvette Z06 is finally arriving at customers’ doorsteps as we speak, an occasion that we’ve been anxiously awaiting for years now. Packing the world’s most powerful naturally-aspirated production V8 and some truly exotic sounds courtesy of its flat-plane crank design and a special exhaust system, the latest Z06 is something to behold and a proper rival for its far more expensive competition. But while much of the focus has centered around the optional Z07 Performance Package thus far, this Elkhart Blue C8 Corvette Z06 recently delivered to a Corvette Forum member named John is certainly a looker without that pricey add-on.

“John had a long drive home, but was glad to see that the Novistretch Mask fit on the Z06 with no problem (this mask is made for the C8 Stingray). I was able to get a bunch of pictures for us including the cold start-up! John was kind enough to let me get behind the wheel and drive the Z06 around the block. The engine sounds like nothing you’ve ever heard before from Corvette….simply amazing! Congratulations to John on the delivery of Z06 #6!”
To us, this particular spec is quite gorgeous, and most other Corvette Forum members agree. Taking such an early delivery is certainly a privilege, let alone being able to secure the highly coveted new Z06 at all, and Mullane is obviously quite pleased with the fact that he is one of the lucky chosen few.
