Car Shows Are Back! Chevy Corvettes Reign at Spring Carlisle

Not even snow could keep the car community from showing up to check out all the great rides on display. Which means a lot of Corvettes.

After 2020 threw a wrench in everyone’s plans, we are thrilled to see car enthusiasts turning up for events. Recently the annual Spring Carlisle show just wrapped up a successful five days of automotive paradise. As one of the biggest auto shows, Carlisle had the crowds, the energy and all the cars and trucks we could want. Naturally we want Chevy and we want Corvette. And there was plenty of Bowtie goodies to choose from.

Even inclement weather couldn’t dampen spirits. After a snowy start, the sun came out as did the crowds. The car corral and swap meet were bustling with gearheads looking for deals on vehicles and parts. Crowds also checked out the many vendors; the ARMO Hot Products Showcase and the AACA car club showcase were especially rocking.

For the AACA, the car club returned to Carlisle to showcase cool classic cars that are part of their club, recruit members for inclusion into the club and promote their fall meet, planned for October in Hershey.

Corvettes always make an impression at the event. And they there out in force, from customs to classics.

Many ‘Vettes and Chevys were for on hand. That includes clunkers as well as pristine classics and sleek new C8s; the crowd always gravitates towards Corvettes.

Attendees took part in the flea market, car corral, spoke with industry experts, and got to pop the hood on some truly dream rides.

Events like Carlisle are always a great place for inspiration. Not only can you get ideas from seeing other Corvettes but you can get great input from the Corvette community. Plus, it is so satisfying when you find that one part you need … then you find about a hundred things you don’t need, but want.

Spring Carlisle 2021 makes it official: car shows are back! Up next for Carlisle is the Import & Performance Nationals (May 14-15).

Whether it is a local Cars & Coffee or Carlisle’s big blowout, we are thrilled to see tons of dreamy Corvettes and our fellow enthusiasts out and about again.
