Crash With No Injuries Proves Corvettes Are Safe

Corvette Crash

This one really proves safety was a main priority in the Corvette’s design.

You probably had a better weekend than this Corvette driver. On Sunday morning, a white C7 Corvette veered off the road in Enterprise, West Virginia, and into a house. This made us realize yet again how safe Corvettes are. According to the brief report by West Virginia’s WDTV, there were no injuries in the crash. That’s quite astonishing given what looks like the severity of the crash. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Corvette take a nasty hit, nor is it the first time we’ve seen one hit a building either.

Additionally, in the short description of the crash, “the driver of the vehicle somehow lost control and crashed into the residence.” We think we have an idea of exactly how the driver lost control. A quick look at Landing Way, the road where the incident took place, shows that it is a twisty, country road. One that is all too tempting to take at a vigorous pace in your C7, no doubt.

Again, the driver is very lucky to not only be alive, but to also to have nor caused any injuries at all. The only injuries are likely to be financial. West Virginia State Police are investigating the incident, and while not anywhere near as iron-fisted as Virginia on speeding penalties, we have a feeling they’ll have a little chat with the driver about their habits behind the wheel.
