Movie Fan’s Real-Life Car Chase in 1966 Corvette

An insane promo for The Fate of the Furious pulls us into the movie experience.

There’s nothing better than a great car chase scene in a great film. Throughout the eight Fast and Furious films, there have been plenty of them, featuring some of the best new and classic cars. In the upcoming Fate of the Furious, Vin Diesel and company have a new set of featured cars, including a 1966 Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe. A couple lucky fans were invited by Xfinity to watch the film while enjoying the typical drive-in theater experience, sitting in the actual Corvette, as well as a 1971 Plymouth GTX. That’s when things got interesting.

After watching a portion of the film from the safety of the parked cars, two professional stunt drivers start the two vehicles, with the fans wondering what’s happening. Then, as seen in the video above, the drivers start the cars and take off, and the fans get front row seats to their very own car chase, complete with explosions and flipping cars!

The two fans are clearly panicked and excited, all at the same time, as they scream through turns and all the pyrotechnics going off around them. The two drivers can be seen continuously laughing, in a truly funny and sadistic way. The MVP of the video goes to the female fan in the Corvette who, throughout the high-speed chase, never drops her movie popcorn.
