Here’s a little revelation that might surprise fans of the TV show Pawn Stars.

Murray Sawchuck, the resident illusionist for all things magical on the History channel show, owns a piece of classic automotive memorabilia himself: a 1973 Corvette Stingray.

Apparently, Sawchuck has had a longstanding passion for Corvettes, something he picked up from his dad, as highlighted in a recent Auto World News report.

“I always wanted to have a Corvette. I love classic cars, I love old cars because they have so much style. Cars today — every car — looks the same,” said Sawchuck.

It was that passion that drove Sawchuck to find a classic Corvette, specifically a 1973, to turn into a restoration project.

”I love the fact that it has a big engine – a 350 8-cylinder engine,” he said. “You can’t beat the power of that car and the engine. The inside of the car has the old wood paneling, stripes on the inside, and black on black… I love the power and strength it has, and I kept everything original.”

He’s kind of speaking our language, right? Well, you can read the entire Q&A here.
