I would like to know why GM has ignored the check air bag light issue that many (probably thousands) of us have had. In my case since early 2005. We have filed many complaints with the NHTA and GM with no results. The main problem is the same yellow connector under the drivers seat that the Buick has been recalled for. We have come up with our own temporary fix which is zip tying the connector together. It's only temporary as the light always returns. The dealer just moves the wires around and the light goes off temporary. I paid the dealer to install a new pre-tensioner which ultimately was not the problem.
I have a private letter from GM engineering admitting they know about the problem and have no intension of fixing it or a recall.
