Few things are as destructive on an engine as heat, especially over long term. Given the propensity for the LT4 to flirt with the upper limits of heat tolerance in both cooling and oil systems as reported by several current owners while engaging in normal track lapping (and not racing other cars), if the engine fails after a period of normal multiple track uses, and post mortem reveals chronic heat fatigue as the cause, will this engine still be covered under warranty?
