Default C6 clutch issues

Hello Tadge.
I've seen you at several presentation. Thanks for being here.
Lots of owners talking about clutch issues especially Drag Racing with Drag Radials. My GM service department is recommending no Launch Control use with DR's. Some say not to use Drag Radial on Standard Transmission at all.
It is easy to spin your clutch. 1-2 and 2-3 shifts especially. I cannot get aggressive at all. I am worried about ruining my car so I never use Launch Control. I have only 430 HP. Do the ZO and ZR's have a different clutch.? Is there a change coming out?
What do recommend?
In addition, the Owners Manual makes it sound like a driver should
"flat foot" his shifts while using Launch Control or it will shut off, if he lifts. My GM dealer says this "will" ruin my clutch. So I don't use L.C. So why is it there?
Thanks for your input and advice.
