Default Is there a fix for AFM actuators failing on track?

Several people have posted about their AFM actuators failing on track, with 2 just in the last 10 days. Mine failed on the first day on track with my Z51 M7, and others have reported having them even fail twice. When I contacted the manager of the Ron Fellows school, he told me they were also having failures of the AFM actuators and he e-mailed me that GM knows about it.

Is GM planning to offer an upgraded part for warranty replacement of these actuators for those that fail so we don't need to go back to dealer and wait 1-2 weeks for a repair like I did, and wondering if they will fail again?
